stephen's a stiff
with a chain on his lips

when he gets all depressed
he digs too deep
then drops himself in the mess
julies a judge with some critical eyes

but she forgot all the words

but she leaves her phone at home

i hope he'll rise above it

when september came
he said "i don't mind"
if we're together again
julie in june said "it's got to end"
she meant,
i don't think we'll be together again
in his life she's the star

to her he's just another car in traffic
